With over 40 years of experience in commercial and consumer collections, the firm and its principals have a state and national reputation as thought leaders in creditors’ rights law. In addition to involvement in numerous association boards and committees, members of the firm have served as President/Chair of the National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA), the Illinois Creditors’ Bar Association (ILCBA), the Michigan Creditors Bar Association (MCBA) and the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE). Markoff Law is also a founding member of the Creditors’ Bar Coalition of Illinois (CBCI), a group lobbying on behalf of creditors in the state of Illinois.
